This 10 mile, circular walk, near Brighton, in Sussex starts high on the hills between the A27 and the sea. It follows part of the South Downs Way and winds back through the unspoilt valleys of Castle Hill National Nature Reserve.
Enjoy the different aspects of Sussex scenery - countryside, farmland, woodland, waterside - and walk underneath a famous historical viaduct (a must for photographers). 11-12 miles, with refreshment en route, a lunch stop in Balcombe village and a short tea/ice-cream stop at Ardingly Reservoir.
